FAQ:
Will you meet me and my dog before arranging the services?
We meet all of our clients and their family pets prior to any booking. This is a free of charge courtesy service to find out a little bit about your requirements, for you to ask any questions and of course to meet your pet.
Where will you walk my dog?
Our usual walks are Lightwater Country Park, Swinley Forest, Mychett Canal woods and Chobham Common. We think it is very important that your doggie has a wide variety of different walk locations to keep them stimulated.
Are you insured?
Yes, we have full public liability.
Are you first aid trained?
Yes, I am fully first trained.
How will my dogs travel?
We have a fully equipment air conditioned van to transport your pet safely and comfortably.
How much notice do I need to give you if I require your services?
We try to accommodate all of our clients, even at short notice and we will endeavor to help where we can.
How much notice do I need to give you if I need to cancel your services?
If you require regular dog walking service and have set days, payment is required all year round on your set days no matter if you cancel or not. We cannot fill your regular dog walking space. You will not be charged if I am on holiday or have to cancel in an emergency (this is very rare). Any holiday that I book off I will endeavor to give you a minimum of 1 months notice, however, I try to give my clients several months notice so that you can make other arrangements.
What training methods do you practice?
I only use positive reinforcement training techniques and have successfully completed many IMDT training courses. I specialise in training rescue dogs but can help with the training of any dog. Behaviours such as reactiveness towards people and or dogs in and out of the home. Anxiety and separation issues, crate training, loose lead walking and recall are just some of the common problems I deal with.
Are you part of any recognised bodies?
I am a full member of 'Professional Dog Walking Association'
